Quentin Bates joined Peck, Madigan, Jones & Stewart in June 2009 and currently serves as a Research Associate, focusing on financial services.

Prior to joining the firm, Mr. Bates served as a political appointee in President George W. Bush’s Administration at the U.S. Department of Energy. Mr. Bates was appointed as a Special Assistant to the Secretary of Energy, Samuel W. Bodman. In this position, he assisted with his daily briefing and logistical needs at the Department. For his service, he received the Secretary’s Meritorious Service Award. Mr. Bates also gained valuable experience working in numerous political campaigns, the U.S. House of Representatives, and the Bexar County District Attorney’s Office.

Mr. Bates received a Bachelor of Arts in Political Science from the University of Mississippi.
