Priyanka Shah is the firm’s health care Research Associate. She assists the lobbying team and enhances client service by conducting legislative research, providing comprehensive congressional hearing coverage, tracking bills and regulations, composing a Weekly Healthcare Roundup with the latest news and policy updates, and producing memos, policy papers, issue briefs, and presentations.
Priyanka joined Peck Madigan Jones in October 2015. Previously, Priyanka worked at the Maryland Department of Health and Mental Hygiene where she served as a Health Policy Analyst. She has over five years of expertise in health policy analysis, research, information synthesis, and program and policy development, with a focus on population health improvement and delivery system reform. She has also worked for statewide and national non-profit, non-partisan, advocacy organizations.
Ms. Shah graduated Cum Laude with a Bachelor of Science in Kinesiology and a minor in Public Health from the University of Maryland, College Park. She also graduated Magna Cum Laude with a Master of Public Health, with a concentration in Health Policy from George Washington University.
