Danielle Burr joined Peck Madigan Jones after serving as Director of External Affairs for the House Majority Leader Kevin McCarthy. In this capacity, she was tasked with facilitating effective relationships between key stakeholders, industry leaders and GOP leadership.
She is one of a few veterans of Capitol Hill who has worked in both Senate and House leadership, having previously served in the United States Senate Office of Republican Whip for Senator Jon Kyl. In the Senate, Danielle helped the Senate leadership develop legislative strategy and served as a liaison to the advocacy community to help build support for Senate Republican's legislative priorities. She also advised Republican Senators and staff on Senate floor procedures and Conference rules, putting her in daily contact with a large number of key decision makers in the United States Senate.
From 2005-2008, Danielle served as senior director of legislative affairs for the Associated Builders & Contractors, managing legislative strategy and overseeing a lobbying team for the largest trade association representing the merit shop construction industry.
She was also a co-founder and chair of the Coalition for a Democratic Workplace, a coalition comprised of more than 500 organizations joined by their mutual concern over federal actions, which threaten entrepreneurs, employers, employees and economic growth.
Danielle is a graduate of Towson University in Maryland.
